• Member’s Choice™ Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) – If your car is stolen or totaled, you could receive the insurance payment – and still owe thousands! Ask us about GAP coverage - the cost is low, and it can be added to your loan payments.  Click here to calculate your payments.
• Credit Disability Insurance - In the event you become totally disabled by sickness or an accident, credit disability insurance pays your loan payments up to the policy maximum. The premium for this service is added to your regular loan payments. For full policy details ask a credit union representative.
• Credit Life Insurance - For a low monthly fee added to your loan, credit life insurance pays the insured balance of your loan, up to the policy maximum, in the event of your death. This ensures your family will not be left with your loan debt. Ask your loan officer for details on your next visit.
• Deposit Insurance - The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) administers the NCUSIF, which covers all federal credit unions and most state chartered credit unions. No taxpayer money is used for regulating and overseeing federal credit unions, as all activities of NCUA and the NCUSIF are funded by the credit unions themselves. Every Tidewater Dominion EFCU member/depositor is insured for up to $100,000.00 by the NCUA's NCUSIF.

Direct Deposit - Direct Deposit enables you to have your entire paycheck, Social Security check or other recurring government check automatically deposited at your credit union account on payday. This eliminates standing in line to deposit your check or worrying about your check being lost or stolen if you're out of town.

Payroll Deduction - Take a portion of your paycheck and have it automatically deposited to your share account. Most members find payroll deduction the most convenient method of making loan payments.

Over-Draft Protection - You may automatically transfer the necessary funds from the share account you selected to cover your overdrafts. Or you may apply for an over-draft protection loan with a limit of up to $750.00. Interest is assessed and payments are due only when there is an outstanding balance on the loan.

Debit Cards - Your Tidewater Dominion EFCU Debit Card allows you to either access money in your credit union checking account using an ATM and receive cash directly or you can make over the counter purchases using a point of sale (POS) terminal. There are no transaction fees for point of sale purchases (no PIN).

ATM Cards - Your Tidewater Dominion EFCU ATM card lets you make cash withdrawals, transfer funds and make balance inquiries from your share or share draft (checking) account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are part of the Credit Union 24, and CU Here networks.

Travelers Express Money Orders - Money orders are almost as good as cash. They can be issued in any amount up to $1,000 and are accepted as cash almost anywhere.

Prepaid VISA Travel Money Cards - Better than a travelers check. Features ATM and PIN access; reloadable (up to 4 times); and is accepted worldwide at VISA locations. Safe, secure and cancelable if lost or stolen; reduces fears of identity theft; transferable for use by spouse and children. We’ll help you travel with peace of mind.

Prepaid Debit Cards - Benefit and save with our CUMoney prepaid debit card. You fund it with the specific dollar amount of your choice and re-load it with more money, as you need it, at any time.
